The Ashwood Glen Junior House is your child’s journey from grades 1-6. At Ashwood Glen we aspire to join the global community of the International Baccalaureate (IB) World Schools and believe a transdisciplinary framework built around inquiry-based learning is critical for the holistic development of children.

Exposure to multiple teachers and role model’s fuels student confidence and better prepares them for higher grades.

A strong foundation in mathematics is critical at Ashwood Glen. Implementing Singapore math ensures students not only learn core concepts but also master some of them in an age-appropriate manner. The emphasis is on developing and strengthening foundational math concepts through the three-step learning process: concrete, pictorial and abstract. A firm grasp of core math skills helps our children understand and learn rudimentary financial literacy early on through participation in the knowledge makes sense and financial literacy programs.

Our large indoor gymnasium provides the perfect arena for a host of sports and activities. Other on-site sports include soccer, basketball, and swimming. Weekly swim lessons are offered through our partnership with Back to Basics Swim Academy. Our skating and ice hockey enthusiasts have the opportunity to play in the local sports arena.
A large, well-stocked, multi-lingual library provides a breadth of choices for both academic and pleasure reading. To stimulate a natural environment, the library opens into a vast passage with ambient natural light and foliage.
